For the last couple of years I have concentrated most of my attention to a set of paintings that are much more minimal than previous work in some ways, but my subject matter is still solidly where it has always been. Much of the visual attention rests on the tactility of the textures that I am working with, using subject matter to tie the pictures together and give them meaning. Most of these pictures are acrylic on board, some on canvas and some use of encaustic.
